Top 5 Ground Pokemon

Well after chasing down what was in that photo in my snap review, I've hit a dead end, oh well, time to be grounded in reality with my top 5 ground pokemon. These are the coolest earthbenders since Toph.

5. Rhyperior

I was going to put Rhydon, but Rhyperior has batman's utility belt.

No but seriously, this dude is powerful as heck, great defences and learns Horn drill, not a ground move, but a onre hit ko-er.

4. Donphan

It's a rolling elephant, the coolest pokemon to use rollout, hell, you know why I love this guy. How about the Pokemon Stadium mini game.

3. Krookodile

Crocodiles, scary enough for you, no, how about a burglar crocodile. No, come on. This dude was one of my core team members in White version and still one of my favourite gen 5 pokemon.

2. Flygon

A ground and dragon pokemon that flies... okay. Still gotta love this guy. Evolving from Trapinch and Vibrava at high levels and Trapinch is a pain in the ass, but like most high level pokemon, it is totally worth it. Flygon gotta love you including your weird eye goggles.

1. Groudon

The Mascot of Ruby, the creator of landmasses and a bad ass dinosaur dude as well. It's special ability Drought lowers the power of water attacks, making it an odd rival for Kyogre, the sea expander. Though it does have a weird thing of looking like a fire type, learning fire moves, but being pure ground, what the fuck? But despite this, Groudon is an uber pokemon and a great member of your team if you're not playing in tournaments which ban legendaries so in that case go with Flygon or Toph'll kick your ass.
