Top 5 Grass Pokemon

Well it's finally here, finally the final type, Grass Types, so without delay:

5. Chesnaught
Its Tackle is forceful enough to flip a 50-ton tank. It shields its allies from danger with its own body.
When it takes a defensive posture with its fists guarding its face, it could withstand a bomb blast.

It's abilities are Overgrow which increases the effect of grass attacks and Bulletproof which increases defence against bullet (such as bullet seed) and bomb attacks (such as explosion and self-destruct). The Grass starter of Kalos, while starting out cute and adorable and then chubby and fat to this tank of a monster. Also I have a shiny one of these at level 100.

4. Leafeon
When you see Leafeon asleep in a patch of sunshine, you'll know it is using photosynthesis to produce clean air.
Just like a plant, it uses photosynthesis. As a result, it is always enveloped in clean air.

This pokemon has the ability Leaf Guard which prevents status effects when sunny day is in play and Chlorophyll which doubles speed when sunny day is in play. Loves the sun this one. Evolves from Eevee when raised one level around a moss stone.

3. Breloom
Its short arms stretch when it throws punches. Its technique is equal to that of pro boxers.
It scatters poisonous spores and throws powerful punches while its foe is hampered by inhaled spores.

This grass boxer evolves from the rather weak Shroomish. It's special abilities are Poison Heal which recovers health when poisoned rather than losing it and Effect Spore which gives a 30% chance of effecting the opponent with a status effect when struck. Learning more fighting moves than grass, Breloom is a good physical fightern but not very good at special attacks.

2. Meganium
The aroma that rises from its petals contains a substance that calms aggressive feelings.
Meganium's breath has the power to revive dead grass and plants. It can make them healthy again.

A Grass dinosaur from the starter set from Johto, Chikorita is a good member of any team with it's abilities of Overgrow or Leaf Guard and a fair set of grass attacks. It's better defensively than offensively however. Speaking of Grass Dinosaurs.

1. VENUSAUR!
By spreading the broad petals of its flower and catching the sun's rays, it fills its body with power.
After a rainy day, the flower on its back smells stronger. The scent attracts other Pokémon.

Venusaur is the original grass starter, the star of the japanese Pokemon Green and my first Pokemon as a Bulbasaur. It's abilities are either Overgrow or Chlorophyll. Venusaur's special defenses and attacks outweigh it's physical and it's speed isn't brilliant either. But Venusaur is a powerhouse of Grass moves and now with it's own Mega Evolution which boosts it's physical and special stats greatly but it's speed is still as lacking.
So that was my top 5 grass pokemon. But overall, what are my 5 favourite pokemon, well here you go:
5. Mewtwo
4. Venusaur
3. Hawlucha
2. Greninja
1. Blaziken
