5. Captain Jack Harkness from Torchwood/Doctor Who

After the events of the Christopher Ecclestone season of Doctor Who, Captain Jack was left with the ability to come back from the dead, forever so it seemed...

Anyway, everytime Jack gets killed, his body regenerates and comes back to life, but his most infamous death was when he faced the son of the devil Abadon. Jack is only at 5, because his whole gimmick is coming back from the death, you kinda know it coming in guys.

4. Jean Grey

Jean Grey the psychic powerhouse who gets possessed by the Phoenix and has died at least 20 times and came back so often it's become a joke in the marvel universe, hell her grave stone reads 'she will rise again'. Marvel now has stated they won't ever bring her back again, but I don't buy it. She's number 4, because she dies and comes back WAY too often.

3. Superman

The infamous death of Superman, where he 'died' fighting Doomsday, but he loses points for not actually being dead and in a 'Healing Coma'. Yeah it's DC bullshit, but it was still a big event that shocked the readers of DC comics at the time.


2. Buffy Summers

Buffy the Vampire Slayer has died twice, the first time fighting the master knowing full well she would die thanks to a prophecy, but that never mentioned Xander and some CPR. The second time was when her sister Dawn was meant to sacrifice herself to save the world, but Buffy took her place to save her sister. Buffy is THE vampire slayer for a reason and the rest are her understudies.
