Pikachu Clones for all

So first we had Pikachu and it's evolution Raichu in red and blue and gold and silver gave us Pichu it's prevolution and after that we were given a pikachu clone for every generation onwards. I'm The JoelMH and I'm taking a look at the five pikachu clones, are they any good, let's take a look.

1+2 Minun and Plusle (Electric and Electric) (Gen 3)
The cheerleader pokemon, individually they are virtually useless, however work tactically well when used in Double Battles, especially with their special abilities plus and minus which make their special attacks increase to 1.5 normal. So basically on use this pair for double battles, otherwise don't bother, but even then their defensiveness is so low, it may be difficult to actually pull of their abilities. I give it...

Two Classic Pikachus out of 5
3 Pachirisu (Electric) (Gen 4)
It's attack sucks as does it's special attack and every other stat bar speed. Most of it's moves are terrible except for 2, Super Fang, a move once exclusive to Raticate which cuts an enemies health to half and Volt Switch which allows you attack and switch out at the same time. Minun and Plusle may have been weak, but they had a use in double battles, Pachirisu doesn't, it has no uses anywhere. I give Pachirisu...

One Classic Pikachu out of 5
4 Emolga (Electric/Flying) (Gen 5)
Now here's something you'll really like. And about 6 people got that joke. Emolga is a flying squirrel, the one Pikachu clone to really shake things up. Being a flying type it's immune to electric's only weakness, ground and it's electric type help sort out flying's pesky electric weakness making this pokemon very versatile and after going to fight the electric gym in Black and White where you're told bring a ground type, what does the gym leader bring out, you guessed it, Emolga, two in fact. Emolga is the first useful pikachu clone, as it's actually better in battle than Pikachu, it still has the low stats bar speed, but it's only weaknesses being ice and rock make Emologa much more useful in battle compared to the pikachu clones beforehand. I give Emolga

Four Classic Pikachus out of five
5. Dedenne (Electric/Fairy) (Gen 6)
And now our newest Pikachu clone, the one I once said looked like a chinese pikachu knockoff and it does, doesn't mean I don't like it, while I don't like Minun, Plusle and Pachirisu, I do like Emolga and this newbie Dedenne. Like all Pikachu clones, it has a high speed stat, but it also has a really good special attack stat unlike all the other clones. Also it's fairy type allows this little guy to take down Dragons such as Dragonair and Dragonite. However it is still weak to ground, but throw him out to troll the dragon users. It's special abilities are either pickup which allows it to pick up dropped items from wild pokemon or cheek pouch which allows it restore health from non-health berries as well as it's stat effect. So I score Dedenne.

Four and a half Classic Pikachus out of five
So why does none of them get 5 pikachus, well cause you can't beat the original.
Whose original cry has been removed and replaced with...
I'm TheJoelMH, signing off!
