Now with the recent release of Arkham Origins being a prequel, it leaves the question, what is next for the series, I'm TheJoelMH discussing ten villains who would be interesting for the next possible Arkham game.
1. Scarecrow
Out of the villains on this list, this is pretty much for certain as hidden throughout Arkham city are fear gas cannisters, messages over the airways saying:
"You will pay for what you have done to me."
"I will return Batman."
"Fear will tear Gotham City to shreds."
Also out in the waters is a boat that if you figure out how to open it, you'll find it filled with crates ordered by Dr. Crane and a man tied to a chair exposed to fear gas. So I'm assuming we'll see him soon in the future.
2. Hush
When last we saw him, Hush was cutting off people's face to mosaic himself into a replica of Bruce Wayne and off and disappeared, I just know this won't be the last we see of him.
3. Ra's Al Ghul
Last Time, Ra's Al Ghul plummets to his death in Arkham City, however his body went missing and his body was in the morgue of Arkham Asylum which also went missing, so I don't think we've seen the last of him.
4. Lady Shiva
Introduced in Origins, Lady Shiva is a member of the League of Assassins meaning she works for Ra's Al Ghul, which could mean her return. Avoiding spoilers but she doesn't die,is that vague enough?
5. Doctor Hurt AKA Simon Hurt
Simon Hurt is a satanist for sure and for some, believe to be Satan himself in human form, he is immortal and an expert at Hypnosis. No one is quite sure what Doctor Hurt is, but in the future where Damien Wayne is batman, he convinces the president to nuke gotham, whispering instructions into his ears and remember what Azrael said:
"I bring a message: dark days are coming, Batman. The Prophecy is coming true, you are the warrior who will close the gates of Hell, you are the one who will save this day, and in doing so, events will occur that you cannot stop, from the ashes of Arkham the fires will rage and Gotham will burn, and you, you will burn too. "
Of course it was more than likely referring to the joker's death and the closing of Arkham City, but a man can dream, hell if Batman can beat Dracula, I'd like to see him beat the devil.
6. Winslow Heath AKA The Imposter Joker
Winslow Heath was exposed to Joker gas which nearly killed him but left him comatose planning his revenge against Batman whilst under for never stopping the Joker. But the Joker is dead now, so what would he do if he woke up.
7. Man-Bat AKA Dr. Kirk Langstrom
Dr. Langstrom created a formula to give humans sonar abilities, alas in classic gotham style mutates him into the monster Man-Bat. To be honest at this point I'm surprised a clash against the bat monster hasn't happened yet.
8. James Gordon Jr.
Jim Gordon's psychopathic son, i.e. the little kid from the end of the Dark Knight. I'm not seeing him as a main villain, more of a sidequest similar to the zsasz one from Arkham City.
9. Jason Todd
The rouge Robin, Jason Todd was murdered by the Joker and came back wrong. Taking on the Joker's old identity he took a different path from Batman murdering criminals with firearms, well until the new 52, but that can fuck off. He has the skills of batman but is willing to kill, once his ally, Todd is one of Batman's most deadly foes.
