Halo 4

So what can we say about Halo, it resparked the first person shooter genre and Bungie gave the series an epic story line and then Bungie ended the series with Halo 3, then made a prequel but yeah ended it with 3, the story was over with Chief and Cortana lost in space and peace across the galaxy, Bungie left Microsoft knowing their masterpiece was complete....

But then Microsoft was like fuck that, let's drag this series out until it bleeds.
So 4 years after Halo 3, Chief wakes up to find their ship heading towards a forerunner planet and they're being boarded by covenant soldiers who are bad guys again despite their religion to be shown a mockery in Halo 3 and peace was established across the galaxy but hey, we don't need continuity.

Anywho Cortana has been active for 7 years now and is going rampant, in other words, when they age, A.I. go completely irrational and insane, please insert women joke here.

Anywho The Chief and Cortana discover an ancient alien escaping from basically cyberspace and his army of people turned into cybermonsters and his plan to take over the universe....
By transforming all biological life into digital life. Now while the story isn't massively terrible, not by any means, but it wasn't needed. Of course that isn't the whole story, oh no, we have a second story mode as mostly DLC played as multiplayer in the form of Spartan Ops, well we did, pretty sure the servers are down now, but you played missions as your own spartan with other players on maps that repeated all the goddamn time.
I get it 343, you wanted to expand on the Halo universe, but the thing is, if you love the series so much why'd you fuck up the multiplayer in Halo 5, yes I know off topic but NO SPLIT SCREEN AND NO FORGE MAKE MH GO SOMETHING SOMETHING...
Back to Halo 4, it's multiplayer was alright, I mean it's only issue is it's players and that's not the game's fault, note to all you noobs, SNIPER RIFLES AREN'T MEANT FOR USE AS AN ASSAULT RIFLE, THAT IS WHY I KICK YOUR ASSES, MOTHERFUCKERS!
I mean essentially Halo 4 plays like any other Halo, but there are new weapons to talk about, specifically the Promethean weapons such as the Pulse Grenade which slows vehicles and damages shields, the powerful Binary rifle which is their sniper rifle and Suppressor which fires rapid fire blasts of sweetcorn to name a few.
But the sad sad truth is that the Prometheans are nowhere near as cool or as exciting a threat as the flood and while they are physically tougher to kill, it was the Flood's sheer number not strength is what made them terrifying and the Prometheans aren't in the slightest scary.
In fact if anything they look like rejected Metroid enemies.I mean I'm not being an asshole here, you can see it too.right? At the end of the day Halo 4 isn't a bad game, no that title goes to Halo 5, but it is far from the best in the series, Halo Reach has nothing to fear from this. The soundtrack is pretty ambient and suits the environment too, though I did have to reacquaint myself with it as it's hardly memorable, but at the end of the day, this game does not indeed suck. The story mode has the typical 4 difficulty levels for replayability and Spartan Ops was pretty good for that too and the standard multiplayer kept this game going for a long time especially with the leveling up system which allowed you to unlock new armours and weapon setups by gaining exp from kills.

Though the armour is mainly for design and nothing more. Sadly the ability to play an elite from Halo 3 is missing. Though I have always wondered, who the Master Chief is and then I found out...
